A Heart Full of Thanks

A Heart Full of Thanks

I wanted to end a very unusual year on a light note. 2020 being a leap year, I started it with a bit of caution, which is the way I have treated previous leap years; My experience with leap years is that they are loaded with a little bit extra than a normal year, but even for me 2020 was totally unexpected.

Despite this year not proceeding as planned for most people, it has shown the determination of the human spirit, because in the face of uncertainty, we have held on to the hope for a better tomorrow.

In a very tough year where so many people have lost loved ones, life continued; babies were born, weddings happened, anniversaries, birthdays, and events such as Christening, and communion were celebrated.

So today as we come to the end of a peculiar year, I will just list a few of the things I am thankful to God for:

  • Faith
  • Family
  • Friends
  • Hope
  • Health
  • Life
  • Love
  • Community
  • Work
  • Opportunities

What I will take away from 2020 is that life is too short, and no one knows what tomorrow hold, so remember to make time to STOP, APPRECIATE and take nothing for GRANTED.

Starting my blog this year has been a blessing in so many ways, therefore, with a heart full of thanks, I wish you a wonderful new year ahead to make and capture amazing memories with those you love.
